Amidst the turmoil surrounding the British Royal Family, Prince William and Kate Middleton are reaching out to mend the strained relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Despite recent conflicts that have shaken their once unbreakable bond, the Daily Mirror reports that the Prince and Princess of Wales are determined to resolve the ongoing feud.
Since Harry and Meghan’s decision to leave their royal life behind and relocate to the USA, tensions have been running high between them and the rest of the royals. The couple has been open about their challenging experiences in the UK, sharing their truth in the explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey and their candid Netflix documentary. Prince Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” has only added fuel to the fire.
The rift between the brothers seems to have reached its breaking point, and there are reports suggesting that trust has been lost. However, royal author and expert Tom Quinn informs us that William and Kate are unwavering in their determination to end the feud. They have extended an invitation to Harry and Meghan, urging them to bring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for a visit to the UK.
Unfortunately, Meghan has declined the invitation, stating that she has no plans to bring the children to the UK. It seems that a resolution is not yet in sight, despite William and Kate’s sincere suggestion for the two families to reconcile.
Archie and Lilibet have spent very limited time in the UK, with their last visit occurring during the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. Originally, the family had planned to travel together in September 2022, but security concerns arose after they were denied proper protection by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee.
Although Harry briefly visited the UK earlier this year following King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, there was no reunion with his brother, William. And even during Harry’s upcoming visit for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in May, it is reported that William has no intention of meeting him. Currently, the royal family’s focus is on supporting both Charles and Kate Middleton as they battle their own cancer diagnoses.
