Darian Depreta, a concerned mother, noticed a black patch on the top of her child’s mouth and decided to take her to the hospital. Initially, doctors believed it to be a birthmark. However, Darian persisted and requested further examination.

Darian shared her experience on Facebook, recalling how she discovered the black spot while playing with her daughter, Bella. She tried to remove it, but to her surprise, it remained. Worried about her child’s health, Darian quickly made an appointment with the doctor.

Upon reaching the doctor’s office, a nurse attempted to wipe the black area with an ENT control stick. However, the spot didn’t budge. This led the doctors to involve Bella in the process, seeking her input. Darian explained to them that her daughter often tries to scratch the mark with her fingers inside her mouth and that the stain appears somewhat white around the edges.

To their amazement, the doctors realized that the black mark was not a birthmark at all. It turned out to be a piece of cardboard that Bella had bitten from a box. The revelation brought laughter to the entire hospital, and Darian couldn’t help but apologize for the false alarm.
