Rick Harrison breaks silence after son’s sudden death at 39 – confirms the tragic truth

Rick Harrison, star of the popular show Pawn Stars, recently shared a heartfelt tribute to his late son, Adam, on Instagram. Adam, aged 39, tragically passed away from a fentanyl overdose in Las Vegas, leaving the family devastated and in shock.

In the touching Instagram post, Rick posted a photo of himself smiling with Adam at a bar, accompanied by the words, “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔” The post has received an outpouring of support from fans and even Rick’s celebrity friends, with Donald Trump Jr. expressing his condolences by writing, “I’m so sorry man.”

Confirming the cause of Adam’s death, Rick spoke to Fox News Digital, stating, “Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose. The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

Adam was Rick Harrison’s second child from his first marriage to Kim Harrison. While Rick and his older son Corey were more involved in running the Gold & Silver Pawn shop and appearing on the show, Adam also worked with his father, albeit to a lesser extent.

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is incredibly potent. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, overdose deaths involving synthetic opioids, including fentanyl, have increased by 56.6% from January 2020 to 2021. Even a tiny amount, as little as two milligrams, can be lethal depending on a person’s body.

As the family mourns the loss of Adam, we send our thoughts and prayers to the Harrison family. Rest in peace, Adam.
