Michael Strahan to miss another week of ‘Good Morning America’ amid ‘personal family matters’

If you’re a fan of Good Morning America, you may have noticed that Michael Strahan, a beloved face of the show, has been absent for the past few weeks. The morning show has confirmed that he will continue to be off the air for the remainder of this week.

While Strahan, who is 51 years old, has taken temporary leaves in the past to fulfill other commitments, this time his absence is also noticeable from his analyst role on Fox NFL Sunday. It seems that he’s dealing with a personal family matter, as mentioned by his colleague, Curt Menefee, on a recent Sunday.

An ABC spokesperson conveyed the same message, stating that Strahan will not be on the show this week as he is dealing with personal family matters. The network appreciates everyone’s thoughts and concerns during this time. Strahan himself has not publicly addressed his absence and has not posted on his Instagram account since October 25.

Michael, we want you to know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We’ll be eagerly awaiting your return to TV and will be here to welcome you back with open arms.
