Young Entrepreneurs Making Waves in their Local Town
While many kids their age spend their summer vacations lazing around, three determined and hardworking brothers from Saginaw, Michigan, have taken a different path. Marcus, Travell, and Marcelino McBride, aged 12, 10, and 9 respectively, have managed to establish their own successful lawn care business in their community. With the support of their mom, Terri Reed, the boys have proven that age is just a number when it comes to entrepreneurship.
A Vision Becomes Reality
It all started when Marcus, the eldest brother, expressed his desire to start a lawncare service a few months ago. With his determination and a little help from their mom, the three young brothers officially launched their business named “3 Amigos Lawncare Service.” Terri, their proud mom, recalls how Marcus approached her with his idea, and without hesitation, she purchased all the necessary equipment and work clothes for the boys.
Hard Work and Dedication Pay Off
The McBride brothers’ dedication, combined with their strong work ethic, soon secured them a long list of loyal customers. Terri couldn’t be prouder of her boys, stating, “I’m very proud of them. They’re some hardworking young boys.” Despite Marcus having no prior lawn care experience, his determination and love for the job drove him to succeed.
Expanding Their Services
As the summer season transitions into fall, the brothers have decided to expand their business by offering all-season services. In addition to lawn care, they now plan to provide leaf and snow removal services. This expansion demonstrates their commitment to meeting the needs of their customers and their willingness to adapt to different seasons.
A Busy and Rewarding Summer
Throughout the summer months, the three brothers have been occupied with various tasks, such as mowing lawns, weed whacking, edging, trimming, bagging, and cleaning up. Their hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed, as they have amassed a dedicated clientele of around 40 regular customers. Notably, their profits have allowed them to invest in property, showcasing their business acumen at such a young age.
A Promising Future
The McBride brothers are truly enjoying their entrepreneurial journey. Each week, they receive their well-deserved pay, and the rest of their earnings are reinvested into their business accounts. With the continued success of their lawncare service, the brothers are poised for a bright and prosperous future.
