Eva, a young woman, finds herself standing by her mother Alma’s hospital bed. The weak yet determined voice of Alma breaks the silence, urging Eva to reconnect with her estranged father. Alma knows that time is running out, and she wants Eva to find her father, especially if she doesn’t survive her illness.

Reluctantly, Eva agrees to her mother’s request, not out of her own desire, but to bring peace of mind to her mother during her final moments. After Alma’s passing, Eva, now in a foster home, attempts to reach out to her father, Oscar, through email and phone calls. Unfortunately, her efforts are met with only a brief response.

Years go by, and Eva now works as a hotel maid. It is during this time that she discovers her father, Oscar, is staying at the hotel, but not alone. He is now married to a famous designer named Nora. As Eva learns of this, a wave of anger and bitterness washes over her. She sees this as an opportunity for revenge.

With vengeance in mind, Eva begins her plan to sabotage their relationship. She plants underwear in their room and sends a scandalous anonymous message to Oscar’s phone. The plan works flawlessly. Nora discovers the evidence and accuses Oscar of infidelity, causing a heated argument to erupt between them.

Months later, Oscar, now bankrupt and desperate, shows up at Eva’s door, seeking to rebuild their relationship and asking for shelter. But Eva, recognizing his true intentions, stands her ground. She coldly refuses him and presents him with an earring she had kept from the hotel incident as a symbol of her rejection. With a sense of empowerment and control over her own destiny, Eva closes the door on her past.

This is a story of a journey filled with moments of heartache, anger, and ultimately, empowerment. Eva’s path may have been challenging, but through it all, she discovered her own strength and learned to take control of her own life.
