Charlie Sheen, the famous actor who made headlines for his turbulent personal life, has now found solace in the role of a devoted father. At 58 years old and six years sober, Charlie has been granted full-time custody of his two sons, Max and Bob.

“I’ve mostly been raising my 14-year-old boys,” Charlie reveals. “Their mom has some things to figure out, so she’s not around much right now.” Despite the challenges, Charlie is proud of his sons, describing them as cool, smart, and funny.

However, like many parents, Charlie faces a common struggle – his teens’ addiction to screens. “You know, the time they spend on their devices…” he chuckles. “But on the flip side, it gives me a little break from dragging them all over the city. Still, screens take away other opportunities for them to learn and explore.”

Charlie emphasizes that his sons are not just consumed by popular games like Fortnite. Bob has already won a horror movie competition at the age of 8, displaying his unique interests, while Max showcases his talent by playing the guitar.

Being a famous actor doesn’t impress his kids, according to Charlie. “It doesn’t matter what important job or responsibility I have; the kids don’t care,” he remarks. “The other day, I was at the dentist, and Max asked me for a gift card for a game. It’s like, when have I ever had a gift card? I’m not into gaming at all; I’m just trying to supervise their screen time.”

In addition to Max and Bob, Charlie is proud of his other children: daughters Sami and Lola, as well as Cassandra Jade Estevez, who is now 38 years old. He expresses gratitude to his family, including his father Martin Sheen and brother Emilio Estevez, for their unwavering support during his worst times with addiction.

“The only times we were ever distant were because of me,” Charlie reflects. “Sometimes, shame keeps you away from those who care about you the most. But they never shut the door on me. It was always, ‘We’re here when you need us.’”

Charlie Sheen’s journey as a single father navigating the challenges of screen time addiction serves as a reminder that fame and fortune pale in comparison to the love and connection found within family.
