Al Roker and Deborah Roberts have triumphed over the challenges of the past year and are now celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary. They took to Instagram to share nostalgic photos from their journey together, accompanied by heartfelt messages for one another.

In his post, Roker, 69, expressed his gratitude for his wife’s unwavering support. Despite facing life-threatening medical crises, Roberts, 62, stood by his side, proving her dedication in both good and hard times. Roker included images from their wedding day, as well as a picture of them with former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. He also posted a snapshot of their children when they were younger.

Roberts didn’t miss the opportunity to honor her husband on this special day. She shared her own carousel of images, including a photo of the couple beaming next to a cake designed to resemble The New York Times front page announcing their wedding.

Reflecting on their 28-year journey, Roberts wrote, “Wow! It’s been 28 years. Beginning with a few jitters, great excitement, and hearts brimming with hope, we embarked on this journey. And it has been one great adventure. This last year has taught us to cherish each moment. You are mine… I am yours. And wherever you are, I am too. Happy anniversary, my dearest. Let’s keep making memories.”

Roker and Roberts first crossed paths in 1990 while working at NBC. Roberts later joined ABC. Together, they have two children, Leila, 24, and Nick, 21. Roker also has another daughter, Courtney, from a previous marriage, who is now 35 years old.
