Maddox holds a special place in Angelina’s heart as her first child. Angelina adopted him from Cambodia in 2002 as a single parent. After the couple started their relationship, Brad formally adopted Maddox in 2008. Maddox shares his mother’s passion for humanitarian work and filmmaking. In fact, he even worked as an executive producer on one of Angelina’s films, “First They Killed My Father.” Currently, Maddox is studying biochemistry and the Korean language at South Korea’s Yonsei University.
Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt (Born January 8, 2005)
Angelina adopted Zahara from Ethiopia when she was just seven months old. During their trip to Africa, Maddox noticed Zahara needed care, which led to her becoming part of their family. Zahara visited Ethiopia with her parents, where they had the opportunity to meet Sahle-Work Zewde, the country’s first female president. Angelina adopted Pax from Vietnam as a single parent, as it was challenging for unmarried couples to adopt in Vietnam. Brad officially adopted Pax in 2008. As for Vivienne, she shares her name with Angelina’s late mother and made her on-screen debut in the movie “Maleficent,” portraying a younger version of Elle Fanning’s character, Aurora. In the future, Vivienne is set to lend her volunteer assistance in Angelina’s Broadway adaptation of “The Outsiders.”
