Pink and her husband Carey Hart are celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary, a milestone that almost didn’t happen, according to the talented singer. In an emotional Instagram post, she shared a series of photos and reflected on the ups and downs they have faced as a couple.

“Love is a lifetime of coming back to the table. We almost didn’t make it to this one, well a couple of them, if I’m being honest,” Pink captioned the photos.

Carey Hart also took to Instagram to express his love and gratitude for his wife. He celebrated their 22 years together, which includes 18 years of marriage, and acknowledged the incredible journey they have undertaken.

“In the last 18 years of marriage to this amazing human, we have done so much together. Raise two amazing children, travel the world, go on adventures, love, argue, make up, support each other, laugh, cry, laugh more, breakup, get back together, party, mourn, grow, and a million other things,” he wrote.

He jokingly added, “There is no one else on this planet I’d rather do it with than you. 22 years in each other’s lives and I’m looking forward to the next 22. As long as you don’t kill me first 🤣🤣🤣🤣.”

Pink took a more heartfelt approach, reminiscing about when they first met more than two decades ago. She admitted that she had no idea about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, and trust at the time.

“When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me. I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust,” she wrote. “It’s f**king hard.”

Despite facing their fair share of challenges throughout their relationship, Pink and Carey’s love for each other has persevered. They experienced a brief breakup in 2003 but reconciled a year later. In 2008, they announced their separation, but ultimately called off their divorce after several months.

“I’m proud we made it to the other side of this year. I wear our scars proudly. You are my stubborn, beautiful, immovable rock,” Pink shared.

In 2021, Pink opened up to People magazine about the evolution of their relationship. She mentioned that in the beginning, she was “super needy,” but as they grew together and became their own individuals, they learned to expect less from each other and give each other more.

“When you first get together, you look at that person as your entire world. One person can’t be your entire world. You have to have your own passions, your own friends, your own time to yourself,” Pink explained. “I used to be super needy. Now we expect less of each other, and that allows us to give each other more somehow.”

On this special occasion, we congratulate Pink and Carey Hart for their enduring love and resilience. May their journey together continue to inspire countless others.
