Archie left 'devastated' as Meghan rejects his dream wish

It’s that time of year again when Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their adorable children, Archie and Lilibet, are gearing up for Christmas. However, things took a disappointing turn when the Sussexes released their annual Christmas card without including their little ones for the second year in a row. Fans were left hoping for a glimpse of Archie and Lilibet in the festive photo.

There has been much speculation about how Harry and his family will celebrate Christmas. Will they spend it with the royal family? Maybe they will travel to the UK and spend time with friends. Or will they opt for a cozy Christmas at home in sunny California?

Archie and Lilibet must be excited about the upcoming holiday season, eagerly anticipating presents and maybe even a visit from Santa. But it seems that Archie won’t be getting everything he wished for this Christmas. Meghan revealed that Archie had a specific request, but when she denied it, he was left in tears.

Where Will the Sussex Family Spend Christmas?

Royal expert Angela Levin suggests that Harry and Meghan may be hesitant to return to the UK for Christmas due to fear of the royal family’s reaction. Speaking to The Sun, Levin remarked, “It’s been said that they’re not coming, but it also depends on the reception of the documentary. It’s up to the Sussexes to decide if they want their children to know what their father’s family is like.”

But celebrating Christmas in the UK doesn’t necessarily mean being with the royals. According to insiders, Harry, Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet have received an invitation from Harry’s close friend, Charlie van Straubenzee, to spend the holidays in the UK. They also have other invitations from friends in the US. So, they have plenty of options to choose from.

Creating New Christmas Traditions

If Harry and Meghan decide to stay home in California, they have already embraced the opportunity to create their own traditions, away from the royal family’s strict rules and etiquette. In an interview with E! News, Meghan shared, “We’re creating new Christmas traditions now that our little ones are growing up, and we’re enjoying every moment of it. I love trimming and decorating the tree with my children.”

Throughout the past year, Harry and Meghan have made headlines and sparked both admiration and criticism for their actions, especially regarding their relationship with the royals and their children. One controversial topic was the decision to give Archie and Lilibet their royal titles, which left many confused.

In 1917, King George V established the rules that still govern today, stating that the children of the sovereign’s sons should hold the titles of Prince or Princess. However, this convention does not extend to great-grandchildren.

Criticism Over Archie & Lilibet’s Royal Titles

While there is an exception for the children of the eldest son of the heir, Harry and Meghan have expressed their desire to let Archie and Lilibet decide whether they want to keep their titles when they are older. It is likely that the royal titles will be reserved for formal occasions rather than used in their daily lives.

However, not everyone is pleased with this decision. Royal expert Angela Levin voiced her concerns, suggesting that it may burden Lilibet in her future. She said, “It will take a long time for little Lilibet to realize the extent of the burden her parents have placed on her young shoulders. By giving her a princess title, Harry and Meghan have glued her to the British Royal Family.”

Archie & Lilibet Missing from Christmas Card

When Harry and Meghan released their yearly Christmas card, followers were disappointed once again to not see Archie and Lilibet in the photo. Body language expert Darren Stanton suggests that the couple may have chosen a more “corporate” approach for their card.

The picture features Meghan and Harry at the Invictus Games closing ceremony. While some may have expected to see their children, Stanton explains that the card highlights the couple’s achievements and positive outlook. “They appear completely excited, enthusiastic, and hopeful for the year ahead,” he remarks.

Christmas is a special time for families to come together, whether it’s over an extravagant feast or sharing a simple pizza. What truly matters is being together. For Archie and Lilibet, Christmas entails the excitement of receiving presents and the anticipation of Santa’s arrival.

Unfortunately for Archie, his wish for a Leica camera was denied by Meghan. Although he won’t receive the fancy camera he desired, we’re certain that both he and his little sister will still be showered with presents on Christmas morning. One thing is for sure – it won’t be a royal crown!
