After months of rumors suggesting that Cameron Diaz wanted to quit acting because of Jamie Foxx, the actress has finally spoken out to put the rumors to rest. Diaz took a break from the movie industry between 2018 and 2022 to make her life more manageable, but she returned last year to star in the upcoming action comedy film Back in Action. However, speculation started swirling that Diaz was negatively affected by working with Foxx and was considering quitting acting again. Diaz has now addressed these rumors and expressed her disbelief that people were saying such things about her and Foxx.

During an interview on the Lipstick on the Rim podcast, Diaz, 51, said, “I really hate all of the things that were being said about our set at the time. You just want to scream at the top of your lungs, like, ‘What are you talking about?’ Jamie is, like, the cheerleader for the entire crew. Everybody loves him. We have so much fun on set with him, and he’s just a professional on every level. Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person and he’s so talented, so much fun.”

Foxx, 55, also recently provided an update on his health. In his first public appearance since his hospitalization in December, he thanked everyone for their support and expressed his gratitude for his recovery.
